I am always reading, always studying and found an article that was thought provoking. I found the article insightful, and possessing an argument that was frankly stunning, the argument presented that Jesus could not have removed the influence of the Law of Moses within Christianity.

The argument places the theological idea of Jesus fulfilling the Law as his abolishing the writings of Moses by nailing them to cross against Deuteronomy 13.1-5. The argument in this article stated that if Jesus was to do such (abolish the Law) he would be considered a false prophet according to Deuteronomy 13.1-5 was worthy of death and could not be the Promised Messiah.

The article’s writer believes that Jesus is the Messiah, the promised Anointed One of God, but the writer seems to raise a valid issue when the doctrine (the teaching that Jesus removed the Law) is compared against Deuteronomy 13 – something that Jesus could not violate if he was to be the Anointed One.

I’d like to hear your thoughts, the full article is available here.
