08. My mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

since i can only see the past (lesson 7), my mind finds itself preoccupied, finds itself dominated and engrossed, with thoughts about the past.

that means my current thoughts are about past events, because the past is all that i see / understand, which means i can not understand the present and can not understand the future.

yet it is true that my mind, in the present, understands that the past is no longer available to me.

that makes my present thoughts about the past thoughts, which means my thoughts mean no thing (lesson 1), but are thoughts that i have given meaning to (lesson 2), which means that i can’t truly understand the thoughts (lesson 3), which means the thoughts mean no thing (lesson 4), which means that i am either upset or glad but not for the reasons i think (lesson 5), which means that i am either upset or glad because something specific is not there (lesson 6), all because i can only see the past (lesson 7), which means my mind is missing real ideas, missing real thoughts, which occur in my present.

i seem to be thinking about the computer, but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.

i seem to be thinking about the car, but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.

i seem to be thinking about the building, but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.

thoughts about the past.

thoughts, they are.

thoughts, having no meaning.
