25. I do not know what anything is for.

i do not know what anything is for.

i do not know what any thing is for.

the idea is that i do not know the purpose for something, and since i do not know the purpose of something that something has no meaning for me.

the difficulty is “seeing” that every thing is in my own best interest, even the things that frustrate and/or challenge me.

when i see that every thing has purpose for me, then i can see that every thing has meaning to me and for me, which allows my thoughts and sights about life to be unified.

currently, i interpret the every thing and its meaning to me as it relates to the goals of my ego (self).

the issue is that the goals of my ego (self), have no thing to do with my own best interest(s).

it is because i interpret the goals that are associated with my ego (self) as being things in my own best interest(s) that i have confused thoughts and sights about every thing.

because i have confused thoughts and sights about every thing, i am therefore most likely going to misuse any thing, all because i have confused my own interests with my ego (self).

goals associated with my ego (self) are really things that i think are interest(s) derived by my own “personal” being.

yet, what i need to understand is that i do not have any actual personal interest(s) because i do not perceive my own best interests because i do not know the purpose of any thing in particular.

in me not knowing the purpose of any thing in particular, it means that i do not understand the interconnectedness that directs the purpose of any particular moment or event.

if i really want to understand purpose, what i really have to do is relinquish the goals that i have assigned to every thing, because the goals that i have assigned mean no thing, and my goals mean no thing, because i do not know what is in my own best interests and that is because i do not know the purpose of things.

consider the following:
i do not know what this computer is for.
i do not know what this car is for.
i do not know what this building is for.

i do not know what this music is for.
i do not know what these ideas are for.
i do not know what these words are for.

i do not know what politics is for.
i do not know what religion is for.
i do not know what money is for.

things found every day, everywhere, things of which i do not understand their purpose.

to understand purpose, i must relinquish the need to set my own personal goals.
