43. god is my source. i cannot see apart from him.

some background. similar to the previous lesson, i am not the author of this book, i am simply following it without judging its presentation. however, if i were to title the lesson, it would be: the creator is my source, which means that i can not see apart from the creator. that is the title that i will be working with.

the lesson:
the creator is my source, which means that i can not see apart from the creator.

as the creator, the creator is completely not physical, which means that the creator does not have physical sight. but since the creator is the source of all that is, the creator therefore does not have “vision” for what is, because what is what the creator “saw” from the beginning.

therefore, what we, as humans, perceive to be vision is not a functional attribute of the creator, but is a functional attribute that will affect things for me, for vision is how i perceive my self and the world around me.

why does the creator not have perception? because the creator has knowledge, from that knowledge all things flow. it is that knowledge that we seek to perceive as the creator “perceives” it, and from that place of “perception” we can begin to “perceive” or “see” my self and the world differently.

from that then, what we “see” is that perception functions as a means to help us understand truth, truth of self, truth of the world.

what i am, and my reader are, learning is that we are learning to “see” from a different perspective, which in many ways uncouples us from the way in which we were seeing, the seeing of things that really were not real.

for example, i once “saw” my self as separate and apart from the creator. learning to perceive things from the creator’s perspective, i can “see” that i am a part of (with) the creator as opposed to being apart from (without) the creator.

that is a challenging perspective to consider. why? because while the creator does not “perceive” it is human perception about the creator and it is how humans perceive the human/creator relationship that determines how humans perceive themselves and the world.

one of the benefits then of having a perception of not being separate and apart from and without the creator is the ability to be at peace, having the ability to be merciful to one’s own faults of misperception and the misperception of other humans, a type of forgiveness.

the goal of the lesson then is to “see” that we, as humans, can not “see” apart from the creator because we, as humans, can not actually be apart from the creator. in other words, humans have perceived a separation where a separation does not actually exist.

what the lesson is conveying then is that no matter what a human does, humans are not independent and separate from the creator. therefore, whether it is human thought or human deed, no human action is actually apart and separate from the creator.

from that then:
the creator is my source, which means i cannot see the computer apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot see the car apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot see the building apart (separate) from the creator.

the creator is my source, which means i cannot listen to music apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot listen to ideas apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot listen to words apart (separate) from the creator.

the creator is my source, which means i cannot observe and/or participate in politics apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot observe and/or participate in religion apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot spend and/or utilize money apart (separate) from the creator.

the creator is my source, which means i cannot observe and/or participate in sexuality apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot observe and/or participate in emotionality apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot observe and/or participate in family apart (separate) from the creator.

the creator is my source, which means i cannot interact with my personality apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot understand my mentality apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot use my physicality apart (separate) from the creator.

the creator is my source, which means i cannot interact and work with my personal relationships apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot interact and work with my marriage apart (separate) from the creator.
the creator is my source, which means i cannot interact and work with my personal problems apart (separate) from the creator.

since the creator is my source, which means that i can not see apart from the creator, then:
i can see through the eyes of forgiveness;
i can see the world as blessed;
i can see how the world can show me my self;
i can see my own thoughts, which are like the creator’s.

that is a difficult concept, because it is claiming that my own thoughts and the thoughts of others are not the determining perception for how i perceive things. and while my thoughts and the thoughts of others are important, those thoughts might not be the perception that is needed for me in my life; why? because the creator has created me unique, and i should seek to understand what the creator “perceives” me to be.
